As summer stretches into the horizon the blush of the season beckons even more. The new pastels, including Rosé feel very current and fresh. It lacks the brown quality of decades old mauve. For some pink is reviled and intolerable. It is a token of a bygone era and symbol of conforming to oppressive ideas. To me it is absolute sunshine. Choosing to embrace it today for the same reason many of my older colleagues previously rejected it. We are seeking modern and opening new worlds. What we want to see is something different, something imbued with the character of life itself.
The fashion world has wholly accepted these palette and it’s rapidly showing up in interiors. I love rosé with hemlock, nudes, whites and even blacks.
